Custom Power was founded in 1965 as an off-the-shelf battery and light bulb distributor, and was later acquired by Don and Maggie West in 1990. Under their direction, the company successfully transitioned its focus towards custom battery assemblies for the aerospace and defense, security, industrial, and medical industries. Serving national and international customers, Custom Power maintains high quality assemblies through their proprietary assembly and testing methods, broad industry knowledge, and strong management team.
The Company was sold to Solid State PLC (LSE: SOLI) in August 2022.
